Upstream Prevention

Upstream prevention seeks to build protective factors into a community, by teaching resiliency and coping, and strengthening youth-adult connectedness.

Prevention is a proactive process that empowers individuals and systems to meet the challenges of life events and transitions and creates and reinforces conditions that promote healthy behaviors and lifestyles.
